Es handelt sich dabei um eine mobile Plattform, die als überdachte Werk- statt dient und in der alle Anbauarbeiten durchgeführt werden. Die Plattform bewegt sich über ein Schienensystem über den Erdbeerpflanzen in den 12-Loch-Topf-Platten. Die 12-Loch-Topf-Platte spielt in diesem System eine wichtige Rolle, da absolut kein Wurzelkontakt mit dem Boden besteht. Der Abstand zwischen allen Pflanzen ist sehr homogen, was zu einem gleichmäßigen Pflanzenwachstum führt. Die Pflanzen müssen jedes Mal neue Wurzeln schlagen, wenn eine Wurzelspitze den Boden des Topfes erreicht. Die Platten verfügen über eine integrierte Führung, mit der die Ausläufer in einem festen Abstand vom Herd der Anlage geschnitten werden. Aufgrund des verschiebbaren Bodens können die Platten automatisch über den Metallrahmen bewegt werden, was zu erheblichen Einsparungen bei Handhabung und Arbeitskosten führt. Diese neue Erdbeerpflanzenplatte auf einem GeGe-System bietet laut Hersteller eine verbesserte Pflanzenqualität und erleichtert die Arbeit.
